Baby Blue

Morning,

Forgot to say yesterday, did you see our advert in the Spree section of the Northants Evening Telegraph on Monday? Right next to the piece on Hello Kitty. So it might be worth remembering we have fantastic Hello Kitty rings and earrings in the Temporary:Secretary section of our online shop!

Busy day yesterday, with lots of the Smashing Glass going out. The sale is still on and there are some real bargains to be had, especially among the Max C and Worn Free pieces. Have you had a look yet?

Sadly, we've now removed the Dr Marten New Authentic Zip Wedge boots from our online shop as these are no longer available in the colours we stock, although apparently they are still doing them in black, brown and red, so if you're interested, get in touch and we can put in a special order for you. We're also still waiting on the patent 8-Eye boots to come in, hopefully end of March/beginning April, so those who have ordered them, thank you for your patience! And if you've had your eye on some, get your order in quick, so we can guarantee you a pair in the colour and size you want.

Pick Of The Day is this gorgeous navy blue with cream trim Max C dress. It was originally £40 but is now in the sale for £25! It's a lovely light dress, perfect for spring, when the nautical look is back yet again. It also reminds us of Alice In Wonderland, and we think it looks great with the Temporary:Secretary Alice In Wonderland Charm Necklace. Because this is now a sale item (and has been much loved and admired!) we only have the dress in stock in limited sizes and numbers, but hopefully we'll have yours!

Have a good day!

All At Sea

Morning,

Still waiting for the body jewellery stand... somewhat less patiently now! Really looking forward to getting it all on display for you!

Still got some work to do on the website so it's another quicky today.

Pick of the Day is one of our Deanna bags. All of the bags in the Deanna range are handmade locally, so each is different. This one is one of her reversable bags. On one side, there is a red, nautical-themed print, and it's plain black on the other. So whether you want to go all out on the nautical trend, or just keep it subtle with that as the lining, this bag is definitely very cute. It's £14.

Enjoy your day.

TGIF

Morning,

Yay! Sunshine! I can have the door of the shop open without freezing! Although it does let in the noise from the roadworks, but I can drown that out with the music.

I've had quite a few enquiries in regards to bigger sizes. Currently, these seem quite readily available in the men's clothes and the t-shirts we stock, but not in some of the other lines. Currently, Max C only go up to a UK size 14 but some of the styles mean they may fit someone slightly larger, whilst the Death Kitty items tend to be marked in small, medium or large or s/m and m/l. The large size appears again to be about a 14, although this does depend on the style of the item. We have a changing room and people are encouraged to try anything on if they are unsure. You never know! As it is frequently reported that the average size for a woman in the UK is a 16, I am eager to cater for as many people as possible and have found labels that do bigger size ranges, and hope to have more of these in stock in the future (but as there is not unlimited space or money, this cannot be arranged instantly). So please bear with me, and I will try to provide our customers with what they want.

Tomorrow sees the launch of the Cityscapes artwork we have in from Louise Berrill, and I will write more about that then. For today, our pick of the day is this Max C navy blue dress. Blues are all over the place this summer, as part of the nautical look, so this dress with the white trim is perfect. It also reminds me of Alice In Wonderland so it ties in nicely with the recent Tim Burton adaptation, and would look great with one of the Temporary:Secretary 'Alice' necklaces.

Anyway, hope you enjoy your weekend. We're open tomorrow, then I'm popping down the road to The Horseshoe to see their new refurb. They're relaunching tonight, but someone has to be here looking bright eyed and bushy tailed at 9am so think I might miss that! So if you're in Wellingborough, well worth checking it out.
